About the Role
The Senior Officer will lead specialised hiring initiatives and strategic projects within Talent Acquisition. The role combines senior recruitment delivery with project leadership, making it suitable for professionals who can manage complex searches while also improving recruitment operations.
The successful candidate will independently manage niche and executive-level recruitment mandates from initial intake through offer. They will develop sourcing and research strategies to identify and engage candidates with leadership and highly specialised technical skills.
Beyond recruitment, the position will contribute to workforce planning, recruitment analytics, automation, digital transformation, process redesign and vendor optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Officer will lead cross-functional projects designed to improve efficiency and service delivery across Talent Acquisition and HR. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to use technology and automation, developing project plans and success measures, and supporting the adoption of new processes and systems.
The role will also use recruitment data, market intelligence and project analytics to support decision-making and report progress to leadership.
On the recruitment side, the Senior Officer will act as a strategic talent advisor to senior leaders and HR partners. They will manage executive and specialised searches, build candidate pipelines and develop sourcing strategies aligned with organisational priorities.
The position also involves strengthening internal talent pipelines, evaluating external vendors and sharing recruitment tools and best practices with the wider Talent Acquisition team.
Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
The Foundation requires at least 10 years of talent acquisition or relevant experience, including a minimum of two years managing strategic projects. Candidates should also have at least two years of experience conducting executive-level searches, either in-house or through a search firm.
Experience with innovative recruitment programmes, technology, automation, data analytics and hiring plans is important. Candidates should demonstrate strong project management, collaboration, critical thinking, judgement and communication skills.
Experience working in complex, matrixed organisations and managing confidential information and competing priorities will also be valuable.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for the position is $173,000 to $259,600 USD. For high-wage markets including Seattle, Washington D.C. and Boston/Cambridge, the range is $190,300 to $285,500 USD.
