About Global Rights Compliance (GRC)

Founded in 2013, GRC is a leading international human rights law foundation specializing in:

  • International Humanitarian Law
  • International Criminal Law
  • Business Human Rights

GRC’s mission is to deliver justice through innovative applications of international law, and its work spans over 45 countries, including conflict-affected and high-risk areas.

One of GRC’s most impactful projects is its collaboration with the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group (ACA) in Ukraine. Through Mobile Justice Teams (MJTs), GRC supports the Office of the Prosecutor General (OPG) of Ukraine in investigating and prosecuting international crimes.


Role Overview: Programme Officer

As a Programme Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and coordinating various rule-of-law programmes. You’ll work closely with GRC’s Project Director and Chief of Staff to ensure efficient project planning, execution, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Your tasks will include:

  • Assisting in programme implementation, coordination, and management.
  • Developing project plans, objectives, and timelines.
  • Monitoring progress, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring compliance with donor rules.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with budget tracking, financial reporting, and administrative tasks such as approving invoices and timesheets.
  • Collaborating with multiple teams, including finance, HR, and procurement, to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Organizing meetings, workshops, and programme-related events.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in project/programme management, business administration, or related fields.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Languages:
    • Proficiency in English (drafting and oral fluency).
    • Knowledge of Ukrainian is an advantage.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working in a post-Soviet country or legal system.
  • Practical experience in rule-of-law areas.
