The Project Manager will lead the Project Management Unit in Metro Manila to ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and achievement of results under the procurement reform programme. The role requires close coordination with government agencies and partners to drive transparency, accountability, and efficiency in public procurement systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily management of project activities and ensure strategic delivery of results
- Oversee planning processes including annual workplans, procurement and M&E plans
- Maintain financial integrity and accurate reporting in line with UNDP rules
- Coordinate interventions that strengthen oversight and institutional capacity
- Build effective partnerships with DBM, EU, and other stakeholders
- Manage agreements with partners including CSOs and academic institutions
- Support resource mobilization through concept note and proposal development
- Supervise project staff and assess performance
- Ensure knowledge management, communication, and advocacy activities are implemented
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in political science, social sciences, international relations, public administration, project management, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree accepted with 7+ years of relevant experience
Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years in managing development or donor-funded projects
- Background in capacity development, policy coordination, and reporting
- Experience working with government stakeholders is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of procurement reforms, data analytics, or digital governance desirable
Languages:
- Fluency in English and Filipino required
