Background & Job Description

The Programme Assistant (Cooperating Partners Management) supports the CPM team in managing cooperating partner relationships, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and monitoring compliance with agreements. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting meetings, and providing technical guidance to partners for digital agreement processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify, and process supporting documents for partner payments.
  • Create Service Entry Sheets (SES) in WINGS and match invoices in the Invoice Tracking System (ITS).
  • Review NGO budget proposals for alignment with WFP requirements.
  • Schedule and support Cooperating Partner Committee (CPC) meetings, including drafting Notes for the Record.
  • Initiate, guide, and archive Field-Level Agreements (FLAs) using Partner Connect.
  • Monitor budget execution and resolve discrepancies between cleared invoices and transferred amounts.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure weekly updates are shared with field offices.
  • Track and archive evaluations and related documentation for easy reference and reporting.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or Business Administration.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in partner management, financial administration, or relevant work with NGOs or international organizations.
  • Familiarity with WFP systems (ITS, CPC, UNPP, Partner Connect) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a national of Cameroon.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and training delivery.
