🔎 Position: Digital Ambassador (Development Worker)
🗺️ Location: Various locations in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Latin America, and MENA region (e.g. Vietnam, Rwanda, Honduras, Senegal, Pakistan, Ghana, Egypt)
⏳ Duration: 12–24 months (plus 1 month of preparation)

GIZ’s Digital Ambassador initiative focuses on inclusive digital change, promoting digital literacy, supporting democratic processes, and providing access to the internet in rural areas. By becoming a Digital Ambassador, you will directly contribute to the development of local digital ecosystems and improve access to digital technologies for marginalized groups.
Your Role as a Digital Ambassador:
- Teach basic digital skills in partner institutions and communities
- Develop digital concepts for NGOs and campaigns promoting democratic participation
- Assist in expanding internet access in areas with limited connectivity
- Support digital transformation projects across sectors such as data protection, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, and Industry 4.0
- Collaborate with local partners and GIZ teams to design and implement digital solutions
- Promote digital literacy, especially for women, girls, and youth
What We’re Looking For:
- University degree or professional qualification in digital transformation (ICT, media, social sciences, etc.)
- Experience in digital transformation or development cooperation, including teaching digital skills
- Knowledge of digital tools and platforms, data protection, and cybersecurity
- Experience working in international development and intercultural contexts
- Fluent in English or German, with knowledge of Spanish or French a plus
- Passion for gender equality and sensitivity to social issues
- Strong teamwork, communication, and facilitation skills

- Asia: Vietnam, Pakistan, etc.
- Latin America: Honduras, etc.
- MENA region: Egypt, etc.
