Amnesty International is looking for a Research, Campaigns, and Communication Assistant (RCCA) to support our West and Central Africa Regional Office. This role is crucial in driving our human rights research, advocacy, and communication efforts. Your Role and Impact
As the Research, Campaigns, and Communication Assistant, you will:
✅ Support research, campaigns, and communication initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and managing human rights-related information.
✅ Monitor and track political and human rights developments in West and Central Africa.
✅ Assist in content creation by producing and distributing reports, campaign materials, and internal documents.
✅ Act as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and coordinating communications.
✅ Provide logistical support for research projects, field missions, and advocacy campaigns, including travel coordination and budget preparation.
✅ Contribute to crisis response efforts, ensuring rapid mobilization when human rights emergencies arise.
✅ Develop and maintain efficient administrative and communication systems to streamline team operations.
What You Bring
🔹 Knowledge of human rights and political issues in West and Central Africa.
🔹 Fluency in English and French (Spanish is a plus).
🔹 Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with attention to detail.
🔹 Strong analytical skills to process and interpret human rights data.
🔹 Experience managing office systems and databases for research and campaigns.
🔹 Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
