Key Responsibilities:
As the Manager of the Climate Finance Subdivision, you will:
- Lead and oversee the strategic planning and operations of the subdivision.
- Manage climate finance initiatives, intergovernmental negotiations, and policy development.
- Engage with international financial institutions, climate funds, and private sector stakeholders.
- Develop resource mobilization strategies to secure funding for climate action.
- Represent UNFCCC at global conferences, round tables, and policy discussions.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for candidates with:
- Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in business administration, economics, environmental sciences, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 10 years in climate change, climate finance, or development finance, including international cooperation and intergovernmental processes.
- Skills: Strong leadership, policy formulation, and financial management expertise.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN language is a plus.
