The Operations Manager will be a key player in this transformation, ensuring that the organization’s internal operations are aligned, effective, and supportive of its strategic goals. This role is central to creating and maintaining efficient systems and processes that promote collaboration across teams and the global network of advisors. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations to uphold internal standards, coordinate with system leads, and facilitate a responsive operating environment that is both legally compliant and people-centered.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week position that is fully remote, though candidates must be located within a specific time zone requirement (within +/- 4 hours of Mountain Time). The Operations Manager will be a critical resource for the Director of Operations, supporting cross-functional alignment and the continuous improvement of internal tools and workflows.


Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will perform a variety of duties essential to the organization’s operational effectiveness. These responsibilities include:

  • Operational Systems and Process Improvement: The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and monitoring organization-wide initiatives that enhance collective functionality. This includes supporting cross-functional alignment and continuous improvement of internal tools and workflows to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Departmental Liaison: The role involves close collaboration with programmatic, finance, HR, and executive teams across diverse geographies and time zones. The Operations Manager will coordinate with operational and support staff across teams and with the sister organization in the UK to ensure consistency and adherence to policies and processes.
  • Documentation and Institutional Memory: A key part of the role is maintaining accurate and clear documentation and recordkeeping. This ensures institutional memory is preserved and that operational processes are transparent and well-defined.
  • Operational Compliance: The Operations Manager will help ensure that the organization’s operational infrastructure is legally compliant, practical, and people-centered. This includes managing procurement, contracts, and other operational workflows in accordance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks, such as US IRS regulations.
  • Project Coordination: The Operations Manager will have a leading role in coordinating and facilitating logistics for critical events and meetings for the organization, contributing to the success of organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this remote Operations Manager role, applicants should possess a specific set of skills, experience, and personal attributes.

Education and Certifications

Additional Information

Salary and Remuneration

The salary for this position is dependent on applicable salary scales, internal pay policies, and budget. While a specific figure is not published for all locations, previous job postings for similar roles in the US have indicated salaries around $102,800 USD per year. Global Greengrants Fund has a policy of not negotiating salaries to ensure equity and will make a best offer based on internal standards.


Contract Type
