About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Board and Committees: Assist in planning, arranging, and monitoring a schedule of meetings for the Board, committees, and members in consultation with the Executive Director.
- Governance Administration: Ensure effective decision-making by coordinating governance activities, aligning them with organizational objectives.
- Member Engagement: Facilitate communication and coordination with members to ensure inclusivity and active participation.
- Meeting Management: Organize and oversee governance meetings, including logistics, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Record Management: Maintain governance records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Internal Collaboration: Support internal teams in aligning governance priorities with strategic objectives.
About You
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Significant experience in administrative and governance support within a nonprofit or international organization.
- Strong diary management skills, with expertise in scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics.
- Ability to draft professional correspondence, meeting agendas, and governance-related documents.
- Skilled in maintaining information storage systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and governance-related platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with high-level stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (additional language skills are an advantage).
