Are you passionate about human rights and civic space advocacy? Amnesty International is offering two 18-month part-time fellowships to analyze shrinking civic spaces and document grassroots resistance movements on both regional (East, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific) and global levels.

Fellowship Objectives and Deliverables
As a Civic Space Fellow, you will:
- Analyze and Document: Research and track emerging trends in civic space restrictions.
- Innovate and Educate: Create practical toolkits to support resistance strategies.
- Engage and Collaborate: Organize virtual or in-person meetings with activists.
- Publish Research: Produce written pieces, blog posts, and thought leadership articles.
- Influence Policy: Contribute to Amnesty International’s advocacy strategies.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from individuals with:
- Fluency in English (additional knowledge of relevant regional languages is a plus, especially Burmese).
- Experience in civic space resistance (NGOs, journalism, law, policy, or grassroots activism).
- Strong writing and research skills on resistance movements and human rights.
- No formal academic requirements—passion and expertise matter more!
