🧭 About the Internship
This internship is with the Capacity-building Subdivision, which supports the implementation of capacity-building mandates under the Paris Agreement. Interns will contribute to intergovernmental negotiations, stakeholder outreach, youth initiatives, digital tools, and key climate education events such as the PCCB Network, Capacity-building Hub, and Youth4Capacity.
You can work remotely or in-person, making it accessible for those who may not be able to travel to Bonn.

Draft synthesis reports, concept notes, blog posts, and newsletters

Support hybrid and virtual events (e.g. the Durban Forum, PCCB focus areas)

This internship is part of the Programmes Coordination Division, which plays a strategic role in coordinating UNFCCC’s internal programmes and supporting the Just Transition Work Programme (JTWP) — a framework designed to ensure that the global shift to net-zero is socially just and inclusive.
The position is in-person, offering direct exposure to the UN climate negotiation environment and valuable networking opportunities.
