This role provides technical leadership in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), accountability systems, and learning frameworks. As a MEAL Coordinator, you will guide data processes across sectors, lead surveys, implement client feedback systems, and ensure high-quality reporting.
You will play a central role in ensuring that IRC’s programs are data-driven and client-centered—making a tangible impact through evidence-based decision-making.

Tasks
- Lead and strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems across the program cycle
- Support logframes, indicator development, and data collection plans
- Implement digital data collection tools like Kobo and CommCare
- Provide technical support on survey design, analysis, and reporting
- Ensure accountability to clients through effective feedback and response mechanisms
- Lead the design and delivery of MEAL training for IRC and partner staff
- Manage dashboards and data visualization platforms like PowerBI
- Contribute to organizational learning and ensure MEAL systems align with global standards
- Build and manage a high-performing MEAL team, including remote supervision
- Participate in strategic program planning using evidence and learning
Qualifications
Education and Certification
- A relevant academic degree (Social Sciences, Data & Analytics, Development, or related field)
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years in MEAL or related roles
- Proven experience with multi-sector, multi-donor humanitarian projects
- Strong background in mobile data collection, data analysis tools (SPSS, STATA, Excel)
- Experience leading MEAL teams and providing partner capacity-building
- Familiarity with feedback systems and accountability mechanisms
- Strong data interpretation and communication skills
- Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is a plus
- Experience in conflict or protracted crisis settings is highly desirable
- Previous experience working remotely is preferred
