Background & Job Description
Plan International, a global development and humanitarian organization advocating for children’s rights and equality for girls, is seeking a Programme Management Specialist. This role focuses on strengthening project management capabilities, particularly in French-speaking countries.
As part of the Global Hub Project and Funds team, you will collaborate with country teams to enhance project cycle management through tailored assessments, training, and the creation of relevant policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen project management culture across Plan International’s global operations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidance for project management.
- Provide training and bespoke support to country teams.
- Collaborate across functions and geographies to address strategic challenges.

Qualifications
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in managing INGO programmes at both operational and strategic levels.
- Proven expertise in developing global procedures and guidance for programme and project management.
- Background in capacity building through direct and remote support.
Skills
- Fluency in French (required).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and results-focused mindset.
- Exceptional collaboration and networking skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Additional Requirements
- Pre-existing legal right to work and live in a country where Plan International operates.
