We are currently recruiting a Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant to support our humanitarian response projects in the Far North Region of Cameroon, particularly in Logone and Chari, where we work with refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and host communities.
The Role: Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant
As M&E Assistant, you will play a key role in strengthening project planning, research, monitoring, and evaluation processes. You will support technical oversight and ensure effective data collection, analysis, and dissemination in collaboration with the Project Coordinator, the PIIA MERL Coordinator, and other team members.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems

Support data collection (qualitative and quantitative), analysis, and reporting

Coordinate closely with technical teams, partners, and community stakeholders

Contribute to strengthening the effectiveness and impact of humanitarian programming
👤 Who We’re Looking For:
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, or a related field

Experience: At least 3 years of relevant M&E experience, including survey design and data analysis

Technical Skills:
-
Proficient in standard software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong command of data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SPSS, STATA, Access)

Familiarity with mobile data collection platforms (KOBO Collect, ODK, CommCare)

Bonus: Experience working in Logone et Chari is highly valued
