Key Responsibilities
- Lead IRC’s research portfolio in Bangladesh and Myanmar, ensuring high-quality research outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- PhD or MA in education research (with focus on education in emergencies).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in education research.
- Experience leading research in Bangladesh and/or Myanmar.
- Experience working with conflict-affected populations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to work with government agencies, NGOs, and global stakeholders.
- Expertise in research methodologies, project management, and policy development.
- Strong publication record and ability to influence international research discussions.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Burmese, Rohingya, Chittagonian, or Bangla.
Working Environment & Travel
- Hybrid work setup with travel to humanitarian contexts (up to 30% of the time).
- Frequent travel to Bangladesh and Myanmar if not already based there.
