Internship Responsibilities

As a Research Fellow specializing in Generative AI and Education Research, you will:

Conduct cutting-edge research on the applications of Generative AI in education.
Contribute to UNU’s AI and Sustainability book series with Springer Nature.
Explore AI tools and educational technologies for policy research.
Collaborate on blog posts and webinar organization.
Assist in AI conference planning for the 2025 UNU Macau AI Conference.
Support research proposal creation within the UNU Global AI Network.

Eligibility Requirements

Enrolled in or a recent graduate (within 2 years) of a Master’s or PhD program in education technology, AI, computer science, social sciences, digital media, law, or related fields.
Proven background in AI and education research.
Proficiency in prompt engineering and AI-based research methodologies.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Internship Stipend & Duration

Monthly stipend: MOP 5,102.63 (~$630 USD) for full-time interns.
Part-time options available (stipend prorated accordingly).
Duration: 6 months, expected start date: March 2025 (or earlier).
