World Vision International Internships: Spring and Summer Opportunities

World Vision International (WVI) offers three-month internships for students and recent graduates in the U.S., providing valuable, practical experience in one of the largest international humanitarian, development, and advocacy organizations.


Internship Overview

  • Duration: 13 weeks (Spring and Summer cohorts).
  • Type: Virtual/Remote and In-Person (depending on the role).
  • Stipend: $800 per month to offset expenses related to the internship program.
  • Work Hours: A minimum commitment of 24 hours per week.
  • Location: Virtual/remote roles are available in U.S. states where WVI is registered as an employer, including:
    Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  2. Residency/Work Authorization:
    • U.S. Citizen/Resident or F1-Student Visa holder.
  3. Education:
    • Current student or recent graduate (within the past two years) of an undergraduate or graduate program.
  4. Time Commitment:
    • Ability to commit to at least 24 hours per week for the 13-week internship duration.
  5. Technical Requirements:
    • Willingness to use personal electronic devices for work.
    • Agreement to allow WVI to install endpoint security software on those devices.
  6. Faith Statement:
    • Adherence to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
