Key Responsibilities for Pool Members

As part of the pool, selected experts and research associates will be expected to:

• Conduct Research & Evaluation: Lead or contribute to research studies and evaluations that provide actionable insights for Save the Children’s programs.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Support in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring rigorous and ethical standards are upheld.

Required Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the pool, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A master’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as social sciences, public health, international development, education, or other related disciplines.
• Research Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in program evaluation, research, or policy analysis within the international development or humanitarian sector.
• Thematic Knowledge: Expertise in one or more of Save the Children’s focus areas: child protection, education, health, disaster risk reduction, gender equality, or climate change.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings in an accessible and compelling manner.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively and deliver high-quality work within set deadlines.
• Collaborative Spirit: Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, including government organizations, NGOs, and academic institutions.
