Role Overview
The Education Project Manager – ECHO will oversee education programs in the Westbank, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. The role involves direct project management, team leadership, partner coordination, and ensuring program compliance with donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Leadership: Oversee education projects, ensuring quality implementation, risk mitigation, and effective resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work with local and international partners, including government agencies and NGOs, to implement educational initiatives.
- Budgeting & Compliance: Ensure financial oversight, monitor spending, and report on project performance to donors and stakeholders.
- Monitoring & Evaluation (MEAL): Track program impact, analyze data, and adapt strategies based on community feedback and technical guidance.
- Emergency Response & Advocacy: Contribute to Save the Children’s advocacy efforts and provide support in humanitarian response scenarios.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
✔ Master’s degree in Education, Development Studies, or a related field (or 5 years of experience in Education Project Management).
✔ At least 5 years of experience in project management, with 3+ years in education programs.
✔ Experience working in complex humanitarian environments, ideally in Palestine or similar settings.
✔ Strong knowledge of education policies, child rights, and international humanitarian standards.
✔ Previous experience managing projects funded by ECHO, USAID, SIDA, or NORAD.
✔ Leadership skills, financial management experience, and ability to work under pressure.
