Job Overview
As the Senior Resource Mobilization Manager, you will lead and implement the 2023-2027 resource mobilization strategy, develop innovative financing solutions, and foster partnerships with global donors. This high-impact role requires strategic leadership to drive funding growth, ensuring sustainability for UNITAID’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of resource mobilization strategies.
- Develop strategic partnerships and donor engagement plans.
- Manage fundraising efforts with governments, private sector entities, and foundations.
- Draft high-impact advocacy materials, investment cases, and policy briefs.
- Coordinate donor reviews, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor global funding trends and integrate best practices in resource mobilization.
- Lead a team to drive fundraising success and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Essential: Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Desirable: Additional advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, and donor relations.
- Proven success in securing funding from public/private sector and institutional donors.
- Experience developing strategic resource mobilization frameworks and innovative financing models.
- Expertise in donor relations, policy analysis, and proposal writing.
- Knowledge of global health, official development assistance (ODA), and overseas aid.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and ability to motivate teams toward fundraising objectives.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop donor engagement strategies and strategic fundraising proposals.
- Knowledge of financial mechanisms related to global health funding.
Languages
- Required: Fluent in English (Expert level).
- Desirable: Intermediate knowledge of French.
