Role Purpose:
The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of business-to-business (B2B) accounts within the British Council’s Examinations business. The goal is to drive new business opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering relationships with key accounts. This involves both securing new clients and maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities for sustained growth and income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Business Development: Develop and implement a B2B sales strategy within an assigned territory. Identify new business opportunities, pitch solutions, and close sales.
- Customer Management: Act as the main point of contact for key B2B clients, managing relationships and ensuring customer success.
- Sales Targets & Negotiation: Take ownership of meeting sales targets, and oversee the proposal and solution design process.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work across internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs, collaborating with business units for seamless service delivery.
- Analysis & Reporting: Capture and manage client data in CRM, providing regular insights into sales and delivery performance.
Key Requirements:
- Sales Experience: Proven B2B sales experience, including familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Educational Qualifications: University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Languages: Fluent in Nepali (C2) and English (C2).

2. Engagement & Change Lead (People Function)

Location: UK (London, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh, or Belfast)
Role Purpose:
The Engagement & Change Lead will drive the engagement and change alignment of People function initiatives with the British Council’s strategic goals. You will play a pivotal role in developing engagement plans that promote understanding, support, and collaboration within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Design and implement engagement strategies for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Consultancy & Analysis: Provide expert advice on organizational change, driving engagement and positive adoption of new ways of working.

Role Purpose:
The Private Secretary will provide critical administrative and advisory support to the CEO, Deputy CEO, and the Board of Trustees. This includes managing diaries, drafting speeches and communications, and handling sensitive correspondence. Key Responsibilities:
