About Gavi

Role Overview

The Programme Manager will contribute to designing and improving Gavi’s funding application and review processes to maximise impact. The role supports strategic funding initiatives such as Malaria vaccine rollouts and HPV revitalisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Streamline and improve application and review processes for selected funding support windows.
• Develop review guidelines and innovative formats for Gavi’s Independent Review Committee (IRC).
• Conduct analytical reviews for vaccine and cash allocations.
• Work closely with international partners, including WHO, UNICEF, and national health ministries.

Qualifications:

• University degree in health-related fields, public policy, or international development.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in strategic programme implementation.
• Expertise in grant application processes and funding strategy.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Fluency in English and working knowledge of French.

2. Senior Manager, Pandemic Preparedness, Response & Emergencies, Funding Design & Review
