About the Role
The Governance and Peace team works to protect and empower mobile populations, especially in fragile and crisis contexts. This role supports evidence-based planning and programming to address climate-related displacement and mobility.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research on climate-related displacement and mobility.

Draft knowledge products and communications materials.
-
Organize events to disseminate research findings.

Support country offices in developing related programming.
Specific Duties
-
Support planning and programming for mobility-responsive development.
-
Synthesize data to inform policy frameworks and international mechanisms.
-
Collaborate with countries significantly impacted by displacement and climate vulnerability.

Organize briefings and joint events with relevant teams.

Contribute to strategic presentations and project proposals.

Provide support for crisis response and recovery operations.
What You Need to Succeed
Education Requirements:

Preferred: Master’s degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Development, Migration Studies, or related fields.

Accepted: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of qualifying experience in lieu of a Master’s.
Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree holders: No professional work experience required.

Bachelor’s degree holders: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in development issues.

Research experience related to climate change and human mobility is essential.
