🤝 Role Summary: What You’ll Do
As the Youth Engagement Analyst, you’ll serve as both project manager for Youth Co:Lab Philippines and the youth focal point for the UNDP Philippines Country Office. Your work will influence national youth strategies and contribute to regional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
📊 Youth Engagement
- Design and implement a national Youth Engagement Strategy
- Lead the development of an annual project work plan
- Manage Youth Co:Lab Philippines operations and events
- Serve as the UNDP Philippines Youth Focal for UN thematic groups
- Track youth-focused activities and maintain a youth-partner database
🎟️ Events Management
- Organize national dialogues and innovation events
- Coordinate logistics with partners like Citi Philippines
- Support youth participation in workshops and training
📈 Partnerships
- Develop partnerships with CSOs, academic institutions, and think tanks
- Lead fundraising and proposal development for youth initiatives
- Negotiate and finalize legal agreements (MOUs, RPAs)
📰 Communications and Knowledge
- Manage project visibility and communications strategy
- Share updates with the UNDP Regional Hub and local partners
- Document best practices and lessons learned
📆 Project Implementation
- Oversee annual YEP-AP service offers like the Movers Programme and Youth Social Innovation Lab
- Support UNDP country office youth initiatives on climate action, HIV response, and digital development
🔧 What You Need to Apply
🎓 Education:
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Development Studies, Entrepreneurship, or a related field; OR
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
💼 Experience:
- For Master’s holders: No experience required
- For Bachelor’s holders: At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Project management and M&E experience highly desirable
- Previous work in youth engagement, startups, or social enterprises preferred
- Experience working with UN agencies, INGOs, or CSOs is a plus
🎧 Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and digital communications skills
- Fluency in English and Filipino
- Experience managing events and partnerships
- Familiarity with digital tools beyond Google Suite (e.g., Miro, Trello)
