Eligibility Requirements

Internship Applicants

Applicants must:

  • Be pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree, or
  • Have graduated within six months of the internship start date.

Fellowship Applicants

Applicants must:

  • Be graduate or post-graduate students, or
  • Have completed their graduate studies within six months before the program begins.

Additional requirements include:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • International students must possess a valid student visa and be enrolled at a U.S. college or university.
  • Housing and relocation assistance are not provided.

Internship Schedule

Save the Children recruits interns throughout the year.

Spring Internship

  • Program: January – April
  • Recruitment: October – December

Summer Internship

  • Program: June – August
  • Recruitment: February – March

Fall Internship

  • Program: September – December
  • Recruitment: June – July
