The programme offers 25 scholarships worth up to R50,000 each, with a total funding value of up to R1.25 million.

About the WENOSA Scholarship Programme
The WENOSA Scholarship Programme aims to accelerate more women into South Africa’s critical skills economy by helping eligible students complete their studies.
The programme provides financial support towards outstanding tuition fees while encouraging leadership, academic excellence, and increased participation of women in high-demand professions.
Scholarship Opportunities
Successful applicants may receive:
- 10 Undergraduate Scholarships (Final-Year Students)
- 15 Postgraduate Scholarships (Final-Year Honours, Master’s, or Doctoral Students)
- Funding of up to R50,000 per student
- Total programme value of up to R1.25 million
Scholarship funding is paid directly to the university and may only be used towards outstanding tuition fees.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Identify as female.
- Be enrolled at a recognised South African public university.
- Be in their final year of study during the 2026 academic year.
- Have maintained a minimum average of 65%.
- Demonstrate financial need and leadership potential.
Scholarship Conditions
Recipients must:
- Maintain a minimum average of 65%.
- Pass all registered modules.
- Use the scholarship only for outstanding tuition fees.
- Provide proof of additional funding if tuition exceeds R50,000.
Where tuition fees are less than the scholarship amount, the remaining funds will be reallocated to support another eligible student.
