About the Role
The Manager, Grassroots Advocacy will help coordinate nationwide advocacy campaigns, recruit and support volunteer advocates, strengthen partnerships, and organize high-profile advocacy events.
The successful candidate will work closely with communications teams, government stakeholders, nonprofit partners, and grassroots champions to promote global health priorities.
This is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
- Lead grassroots advocacy campaigns.
- Recruit and train volunteer advocates.
- Coordinate advocacy events and leadership summits.
- Support congressional engagement activities.
- Build partnerships with community organizations.
- Manage advocacy databases and reporting.
- Assist with grants, contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Support fundraising and awareness campaigns.
Who Should Apply?
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in grassroots advocacy, volunteer management, partnerships, or public engagement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience organizing meetings, workshops, or advocacy events.
