Project and Operations Manager Responsibilities

Professionals in this role will be responsible for:

  • Leading operational logistics support across multiple humanitarian missions.
  • Managing project planning, implementation, and continuous operational improvement.
  • Supporting emergency preparedness and rapid response operations.
  • Coordinating logistics, procurement, fleet management, facilities, and supply chain activities.
  • Monitoring operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Building the capacity of field teams through coaching and mentoring.
  • Working closely with country teams and international partners to ensure effective programme delivery.

Who Should Apply?

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Humanitarian Affairs, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in humanitarian logistics, operations, or supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and operational coordination experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English (French is considered an advantage).
