Project and Operations Manager Responsibilities
Professionals in this role will be responsible for:
- Leading operational logistics support across multiple humanitarian missions.
- Managing project planning, implementation, and continuous operational improvement.
- Supporting emergency preparedness and rapid response operations.
- Coordinating logistics, procurement, fleet management, facilities, and supply chain activities.
- Monitoring operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Building the capacity of field teams through coaching and mentoring.
- Working closely with country teams and international partners to ensure effective programme delivery.
Who Should Apply?
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Humanitarian Affairs, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in humanitarian logistics, operations, or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and operational coordination experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English (French is considered an advantage).
