Background & Job Description

The Project Manager will oversee the REACTS-IN project, aimed at improving gender-equitable nutrition, health services, and community practices. The role includes strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, monitoring, evaluation, and supervision of project teams to ensure effective delivery aligned with donor requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of project implementation.
  • Develop and monitor the annual work plan, ensuring activities meet timelines and budget.
  • Facilitate technical assistance to local stakeholders, including regional and district MoH offices.
  • Monitor project indicators, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with donor and World Vision standards.
  • Coordinate with local partners to scale up interventions like bio-fortified crop production.
  • Support social behavior change communication strategies and community engagement.
  • Supervise project staff, ensuring high-quality implementation and capacity building.
  • Lead documentation and dissemination of lessons learned, success stories, and best practices.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Project Management, or related discipline from a recognized institution.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing integrated health, nutrition, or adolescent sexual reproductive health projects.
  • Proven experience with international donor-funded projects, implementing partners, and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Knowledge of advocacy, MNCH, ASHR, and nutrition programs.
  • Strong report writing, analytical, and project documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent coordination, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multicultural teams and manage field operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
